| Glen Lyons, President |
Glenn E. Lyons, a founding donor of the Foundation, was elected President of the Foundation in September 2006. He is President of Glenn E. Lyons & Associates, Inc. which has offices in Corpus Christi, Dallas and Las Vegas, NV. He has been a member of numerous bank boards and is a past Director of the Karen Henry Foundation in Corpus Christi and currently sits on the Corpus Christi International Airport Board. He has been involved in the ADA Tansistion Plan with FBISD Maintenance Director Dale Mecom since 1999. He is a graduate of Charleston High School, Charleston, WV and was honorably discharged from the US Air Force after 10 years of military service. Glenn and his wife Crystal, and son Jason, a student at Flour Bluff High School moved to Padre Island from the Dallas area in 1996. He also has 3 older sons and 3 grandchildren. |
| Sanford Perry, Vice President-Administration |
Sanford Perry is owner of Brooke Insurance serving Padre Island and Corpus Christi with three locations providing ten years of experience in insurance sales and marketing. Mr. Perry is curently Presiden of Family Outreach, President-elect of Padre Island Rotary and Vice President of Padre Island Business Association. He has served in many positions as a volunteer in schools for over 30 years. Married to Patricia, Sanford has 1 son and 3 daughters. His youngest daughter, Kristine, attends Flour Bluff High School. |
| John Michael, Vice-President-Programs & Development |
John Michael is Vice President of Naismith Engineering, Inc. John has spent the majority of his professional career on the design of Public Works infrastructure improvements for City and County Governments located throughout South Texas. He has lead many regional planning efforts involving flood control, securing long term water supplis, waste-water treatment and reuse, solid waste management activities and recreational facilities. John has served on numerous community and civic boards and is also a member of several professionaol and technical societies such as ASCE, TSPE, CEC, and AWWA. John and his wife, Jackie, have two children, Chris a graduate of Flour Bluff High School and Michelle who is currently attending Flour Bluff High School. |
| Treva Bedwell, President-Community Relations |
Treva Bedwell served on the Foundation Steering Committee and was elected as Vice President of Community Relations in September 2006. She is a retired school teacher from the Department of Defense Dependent Schools (DODDS) in Panama. She works for H&R Block during the tax season and is also a substitute teacher for CCISD and FBISD. Treva enjoys volunteering in the local community and serves on the Friends of Corpus Christi Libraries and South Texas Library Systems boards. Treva and husband Von, a retired pharmacist, live in Flour Bluff. They have two sons, one which was a 1999 graduate of Flour Bluff High School. |
| Lacey Harrelson, Secretary |
Lacy Harrelson moved to Padre Island in 1974 and graduated from Flour Bluff High School in 1981. She received her BBA in Marketing from Texas A&M Corpus Christi in 1985. She has 13 years sales and marketing experience in various industries. Lacy is a Certified Personal Trainer and group exercise instructor. She serves on the Education Improvement Council of F.B.I.S.D. and enjoys volunteering at school and Bay Area Fellowship. She and husband Ken, have two sons who attend F.B.I.S.D. |
| Melanie Hambrick, Treasurer |
Melanie Hambrick served on the Foundation Sterring Committee and is currently serving as Treasurer. Melanie is an Investment Representative iwth NEXT Financial Group, Inc. She is a devoted Rotarian and enjoys being active in various international and community service projects. Melanie and husband Chuck, have three sons who have or are attending Flour Bluff High School. |
| Vivi See, Member |
Vivi See has served on the Foundation Steering Committee and as Vice President of Development. She is currently serving as the Big Event Committee Chair. She is a graduate of Flour Bluff High School. Mrs. See and her husband Tosser are both graduates of Flour Bluff High School. Their three daughters are also graduates of Flour Bluff High School. Mrs. See is a former employee of F.B.I.S.D. and has done volunteer work at the district, community and city level for over 30 years. Mrs. See was elected to a three-year board term. |
| Pam Morgan, Member |
Pam Morgan has served on the Foundation Steering Committee and is currently a board member of the Flour Bluff ISD Foundation for Educational Excellence. She is a real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Island, Realtors and has more than 30 years combined experience in sales, marketing and business ownership. Pam is a member of Leadership Texas Alumni Association and a past board member of the Texas Marketing Education Foundation. Active in the community, she has served on committees and boards of various organizations. She and her husband, Mike, a commercial real estate broker, are residents of Padre Island. |
| Miles Graham, Member |
Miles Graham served on the Foundation Steering Committee and as President of the Flour Bluff Foundation for Educational Excellence from 2004-2006. He is Senior Vice-President at First Commerce Bank - Corpus Christi where he has been employed for 14 years. He is also immediate past president of the Corpus Christi Bucaraders. Mr. Graham and his wife, Sandy, are both graduates of Flour Bluff High School. Their son, Tony, is also a graduate of Flour Bluff High School. Miles Graham is a former Flour Bluff I.S.D. school board member and is active in various community improvement projects. |
